Looks like you have a wonderful family, lovely children, and a love for a number of things in your life. I help contribute to Making a Point and would just like to say that I don't dislike you. :) Heck I don't know you, it's quite hard to dislike someone you don't know (that isn't part of the government anyhow).

We do disagree on the implementation of a number of things, though a careful reading of your blog shows a great deal of agreement on the basic issue of personal responsibilty. I think much of the difference resides in the belief of what choices are actually afforded to the poor, the homeless, and the folks that work at WalMart and haven't had chances at education and advancement that those of us who are luckier or more well placed get to have.

So please don't think you personally are disliked for your views. I honor and disagree with them. I regret that our country and opinions get so polarized and true discussion is lost along with opportunitites for learning and compromise and change.

In short? You go girl! Don't censor yourself, ever. No one wants that. :)

Its scary how mean people can be, myself included at times, I admit. It was unnecessary for that lady to dedicate a whole post based on assumptions about someone she doesn't know. You know what happens when people assume. It makes an ass out of you and me, as Africableu would say. ha.

Just suffice to say that I would rather not be included in the "us" you speak of - I don't HATE liberals (or liberal extremists). How you feel about conservatives is your OWN business. However, I don't generally agree with what liberals (or liberal extremists) have to say (ever) - hence the "blanket statement" I made that apparantly offended you so. Too bad you can't get offended for poor Slushy, who was attacked by a liberal (or - liberal extremist) and WAS, after all, the subjet of this post.

L here. Denman that was a very gracious point. However, I would just like to say that I started out as a stock boy for Wal-Mart, and my life could have gone either way. I have been graciously blessed by God, and for that I am thankful.
