That, my friend, is a seam ripper. It's very sharp.

Luckily, I didn't poke myself, I just shaved off a nice big chunck of hair. Oh well, I already had some layers... c'est la vie...

YIPE! At least it was only a chunk of hair and not an eyeball!! Glad you're being industrious though - those SlushBags must be selling like hotcakes!! :)

OUCH!! Hey! if you don't mess up, you shouldn't be holding one of those, right..?? haha

Bummer on the chunk 'o hair!! Guess it's good it was only hair. When I saw the begining of this post I was afraid the pic would include blood... eewww...

Not that I don't sometimes make mistakes that need to be undone (called reverse sewing here in Slushville), but actually I use this to install the little magnetic snaps on my bags. It's easier, and generally safer, than something like an exacto knife.

My first reaction reading that was OUCH!!! Thankfully it's only hair! I've done things lke taht, too... go to tuck my hair behind my ear or something and I stab myself in the eye with my own fingernail. Yep. I'm jsut THAT smooth.
