Sewing With Slush
In today's riviting episode, we learn why it isn't a good idea, when holding one of these
to tuck one's hair behind one's ear.

That, my friend, is a seam ripper. It's very sharp.

Luckily, I didn't poke myself, I just shaved off a nice big chunck of hair. Oh well, I already had some layers... c'est la vie...

Not that I don't sometimes make mistakes that need to be undone (called reverse sewing here in Slushville), but actually I use this to install the little magnetic snaps on my bags. It's easier, and generally safer, than something like an exacto knife.

My first reaction reading that was OUCH!!! Thankfully it's only hair! I've done things lke taht, too... go to tuck my hair behind my ear or something and I stab myself in the eye with my own fingernail. Yep. I'm jsut THAT smooth.
