Almonds
We've been South Beachin' it here in Slushville for a few weeks now (thanks Katrina!). Before this, I can't really remember ingesting an almond, at least unless it was on top of some sort of ice cream concoction. Now, I'm wondering how I lived my thirty some years without the joys and delights of plain, roasted almonds. They're a highlight of my day.

Yes, I do need to get out more. But then I'd have to leave my house...

I so need to get back on South Beach...but I lack the willpower. Maybe more tales of the delights of almonds will encourage me. Cause I'll clue you in on a little secret...after about 3 months, you will find yourself looking at an almond and wishing it to heck.

Glad you're enjoying your almonds. :) I've learned to appreciate a lot of foods that I used to overlook since going on SB--like hard boiled eggs and hummus (but not together...although, now that I think about it, that doesn't sound too bad.)

By the way, the key to sticking to it and not getting bored is variety in your menus. If you google "South Beach recipes", you'll find all sorts of yummies!

Hey, do Emerald's "Cocoa Roast" almonds count?

I'm not familiar with those- sorry!
